Warners Exhibitions and the Publishers of BRM are looking forward to the third year of The Festival of British Railway Modelling being held at The Doncaster Racecourse 11th – 12th February 2012.

2011 saw over 5500 visitors across the two days. The show was laid out over 2 floors with a collection of trade support, clubs, societies and demonstrations as well as a vast array of top quality layouts.

Located in the heart of the UK, the venue boasts excellent links to the motorway network including M1(jnc 32), M18 (jncs 3 & 4), A1M (jnc 36) and the M62 along with being only 2.5 miles from Doncaster Train Station which is on the main London-Edinburgh Line. Journey times by rail from London are just an hour and three quarters and as with all Warners Railway Modelling Shows, free shuttles buses will be organised.

2012 will see another superb collection of almost everything that is Railway Modelling and the new attraction of the theatre that will feature our touring show ‘Layout In A Shed’ with our Layout ‘’Amberdale’’:

This project demonstrates the different stages of building a layout. The Doncaster weekend will show the scenic side of modelling and will feature live demonstrations throughout the 2 days.
