The Festival of British Railway Modelling

Warners Exhibitions and the Publishers of BRM and Traction are delighted to announce that The Festival of British Railway Modelling is returning to Doncaster Exhibition Centre on 13th &14th February 2010.

For the past three years, due to the extensive £34m development programme being carried out in Doncaster, The Festival of British Railway Modelling made its home in Harrogate and whilst a superb venue, it has been decided that it’s time to return to Doncaster.

This new and exciting venue offers an excellent exhibition area with 3,400msq of space known as the Lazarus Exhibition Hall and free parking for up to 3000 vehicles.

Located in the heart of the UK, the venue boasts excellent links to the motorway network including M1(jnc 32), M18 (jncs 3 & 4), A1M (jnc 36) and the M62 along with being only 2.5 miles from Doncaster Train Station which is on the main London-Edinburgh Line. Journey times by rail from London are just an hour and three quarters and as with all Warners Railway Modelling Shows, free shuttles buses will be organised.

Maxine Shepherd, Exhibition Manager is delighted with the decision to return to Doncaster and says, 'Whilst I have enjoyed running the show at Harrogate for the past three years, I feel that Doncaster can offer both our exhibitors and day visitors easier access and a better overall visitor experience. I am looking forward to re-launching the show and delivering a top quality event for both exhibitors and visitors alike.'
