CALLING ALL RAILWAY MODELLING ENTHUSIASTS TO DONCASTER

The Festival of British Railway Modelling returns to Doncaster again for a spectacular show, firmly established as the biggest show in the area, attracting almost 6,000 day visitors across 2 days.

30 British layouts will be showcased and over 80 trade stands as well as the popular free seminars will be in attendance at the event.

2013 will see the launch of a brand new area to the show, bringing the hobby to life with British Railway Modelling, RM Web and Model Railways Live area, more information will follow.

We will be talking to trade about this area as we discuss bookings for 2013 and how you can get involved.

Day visitor rates will be held for 2013. This will be communicated through an extensive marketing campaign including advertising in three external specialist titles, the local press covering a 50 mile radius and here at Warners, with all we have to offer the hobby including British Railway Modelling editorial, layout profiles and advertising with sales averaging 27,000 in season. We have a fantastic online presence with RM Web 15,000 members and Model Railways Live averaging 17,000 visitors a month.  And we will continue to utilise this with E-shots, online editorial, the show homepage and a strong presence on both RM Web and Model Railways Live itself. 

Trade rates will be held for 2013. We now have more routes to market than ever before and are confident of delivery an increased buying visitor.  However, we do appreciate the economic climate at present and the decision has been made to hold the trade rates for 2013.
